Foreign Academician, Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, Doctoral Supervisor, and Director of the Institute of Microwave and Antenna Technologies. Main research areas include ultra-wideband antennas and miniaturization technologies, microwave technology and antennas, and high-power microwave and electromagnetic pulse technologies. Has led numerous projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the 863 Program, as well as a number of key provincial and ministerial-level projects and multiple international collaborative initiatives. Received two First-Class Awards and three Second-Class Awards for Scientific and Technological Progress at the provincial and ministerial levels, and one First-Class Award for Scientific and Technological Progress from the Ministry of Education. As the project leader of the 111 Talent Attraction Base, he has participated in the planning of the China–Ukraine High-Tech Forum.
